SANTA MONICA PIER

Santa Monica Pier, end of Route 66, is a awesome landmark of Southern California. With that said, WzTheBuzz just had to accept the invitation to explore the shore!

After sunset the lights on the Santa Monica Pier seemed magical. The Pier is only a five min. walk from the beach.

Looking out at the pier, my sister and I immediately recognized this place from the movies.

The boardwalk floor built in1909, was rickety and uneven. Tourist were everywhere and a odd man kept screaming "REPENT!" on his microphone. TIP Kids, definitely stay by your parent when scary people yell at everyone!

The Sea Dragon Swing lit up as we boarded the ride. We flew back and forth so high we could see the beach! TIP: Best view sit back seat.

Next we raced to the roller coster. It wasn't that fast, but it gave us a thrill in the night light.

Before leaving the pier, we just had to go on the carousel. We waited in a long line, but it was worth it because the view was breathtaking!

TIP: Heal the Bay Aquarium is underneath the Carousel.

Most of the food and souvenir shops were extremely overpriced. Two burritos cost twenty bucks and the silly mustache glasses 14 dollars!

Parking was easy and close to the pier.

WzTheBuzz says the Santa Monica Pier is buzzn' with fun and excitement for your whole family!
